Daily Meditation for January 14, 2202

As we moved through the season of Advent, we were in a time of preparation: preparation for the celebration of the coming of the most precious Gift of all time. This Gift is not wrapped in beautiful Christmas paper, nor does it come with a large bow on the top of it. This Gift is wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manager. This Gift is beauty personified. It will never fade, disappear or be consumed. This Gift provides each of us with the grace needed to love, to be grateful, to share our gifts, to spread peace and happiness, to think of others before ourselves, to forgive and ask for forgiveness. This Gift is for eternity. This GIFT of JESUS CHRIST, both human and divine, is by far the greatest sign of God’s love. Are we not so fortunate!
