Saint Benedict’s Monastery Gifts Heritage Edition of The Saint John’s Bible to the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University

In July, Saint Benedict’s Monastery was gifted a Heritage Edition of The Saint John’s Bible from the Coborn Family Foundation. On September 16, 2026, we were blessed to extend the spirit of this beautiful gift with the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University.

The Bible was officially presented to CSB+SJU in a celebration titled “A Gift for Generations.” Starting with a prayer service in Sacred Heart Chapel, sisters and guests processed to the Benedicta Arts Center, featuring the lighting of a symbolic torch, and enjoyed a celebration and social hour. The Bible will now go on permanent display in the Clemens Library. We’re delighted that this heartfelt gift will be enjoyed and accessible to our CSB+SJU community now and into the future!
