Daily Meditation for September 17, 2026

The television game show “Family Feud” asks contestants to name things and compares their answers to what the survey says. If you were asked to name something you can measure, how would you answer? Would you say time is something you can measure? In fact, there are multiple ways to measure this gift of time. The sun and moon are among natural phenomenon by which time has been measured since early civilizations. Human events also provide ways to measure time. Given that this is September, the opening of school marks the beginning of a new year for many folks. You can even buy calendars that begin with August and September as the first months. No matter how you mark time or when a new year begins for you, savor each new beginning of this God-given gift of time.
