Daily Meditation for November 27, 2025
Today we celebrate Thanksgiving. Obviously it is a time of thanks, a time of gratitude, a time to count one’s blessings, to count the gifts each of us receive from God each and every day. All is gift, beginning with the gift of life, faith, family, friends, a job, food, the kindnesses others do for us. The list is endless. John and Mary’s family has the tradition of each person, at dinner in the evening, naming one thing they are most grateful for that day. Might you like to begin such a tradition? Thanksgiving would be a good time to do so. You will be amazed to see how such a tradition changes your outlook on life and helps you be aware, during the day, of the blessings you receive. You might be thinking, as you go about your day, “What will I share at dinner tonight?” May you continue to receive many blessings and your days bring peace to you and your family. Happy Thanksgiving!
