Daily Meditation for February 27, 2025

While we live in a world where violence is common, guns are plentiful, and self-centeredness seems rampant, let us also be mindful of the countless acts of kindness that many are offering to others who are in need. Generous people often set aside their own comfort, desires and busy lives to help a neighbor in trouble or to travel many miles to assist total strangers who are suffering from fires, floods and other natural disasters. Deep within each person there seems to be a tender heart that feels the pain of another in a difficult situation. February is often the month when people take a little more time to express their love, affection and concern for others. May every day be a Valentine’s Day as we find ways to show another our love and appreciation for the gift of their presence in our lives.
