Saint Benedict’s Monastery Receives Copy of Saint John’s Heritage Bible From Coborn Family Foundation

The sisters are excited to receive a copy of the Saint John’s Heritage Bible, which has been generously gifted to the community by the Coborn Family Foundation. The Heritage Edition is a fine-arts reproduction of the original manuscript, a handwritten, hand-illuminated Bible crafted by renowned calligrapher Donald Jackson and commissioned by Saint John’s Abbey and University in 1998. The gift won’t only benefit the sisters — the plan is to share it with the College of Saint Benedict so that it can be appreciated by more people and used for education purposes.
