National Make-A-Will Month • August 2026

August is National Make-A-Will Month. This observance takes place annually in August and encourages people to think about estate planning and make or review their wills. Having a will ensures that your wishes are honored, that your loved ones are protected and that you decide how your assets are allocated after death. You can even include your favorite nonprofit organization(s) as a beneficiary in your will. Often, a gift can be arranged simply with the addition of a codicil to amend your current will.

We encourage you to think about your own estate planning and create or review your will. If you’re interested in learning more about including the sisters in your estate plans, contact Sister Nina Lasceski at (320) 363-7034 or plannedgiving@csbsju.edu.
