Daily Meditation for January 13, 2026
Time is flying and you are the pilot! One tip about being successful in work and in personal life is to effectively manage your time. Some “Time Pilots” depend on computerized schedules, updated several times a day. Others create their own daily or weekly schedules in a carefully chosen format. Even some elementary school children carry their daily time plan in a little notebook. Recently a magazine article suggested adding a specific time in your busy schedule for petting the dog. We might try multitasking, which has been shown to be less efficient than doing one thing at a time. For sure, people today are on the run and we need God’s help. We pray with Avis Crowe: Help me to be less fearful of the measure of time and more fully alive in the time that simply is. Help me to live time, not just to simply use it. To breathe it in and return it, in acts of love and presence to others.
