Daily Meditation for April 3, 2025

April 1, just two days ago, often referred to as April Fool’s Day, can help us recall the need for a little foolishness and fun in our lives, especially during the Lenten season. Do we consider play, fun and foolishness as the extras in life and have little time for such frivolity? Many of our waking hours are filled with the practical, the functional and the necessary, and we forget how to take some time and have fun which might be considered by some to be non-productive. Can we be totally involved in some non-productive activity that helps us stay healthy and human? Taking the time for some fun and even spending the necessary funds and time to do so can help make us healthy, happy and relaxed. Who knows? We might even become a holier and happier person who is also more loveable and cheerful. It seems worth a try.
