Daily Meditation for January 10, 2025
As the Christmas season draws to a close, what if we continued to hold a few words from our favorite Christmas carols? What if we lived these words and let them become a gift to others? Imagine the difference it would make if we brought an extra measure of “joy to the world” each day. The joy of a small kindness … a smile … a helping hand … a word of encouragement. Or imagine the difference it would make if “peace on the earth and good will to all” were our theme song each day. The inner peace we cultivate by sitting in silent prayer, the peace that comes when we refrain from gossip and grumbling, the peace that flourishes when God’s “good will to all” flows through us to others, most especially those most in need. Truly, Jesus is the reason for every season—so keep on singing the song in your heart.
