Daily Meditation for May 4, 2026

Recently I have been reading a book entitled JESUS CALLING. Each day I am reminded that Jesus walks with me each day. Where do I meet him?  I am in the midst of a project and the phone rings. Do I answer it with patience or with a curt voice? Jesus is at the other end of that line in the person who is calling.  I go back to my project and the doorbell rings. Another interruption. Jesus is in the person at the door.  Does he get a smile or a busy look? Back to concentrate once more and someone knocks on my door. Do I have time to listen or am I too busy?  In each of these occasions, Jesus is making his presence known to me. As I begin the day anew, am I more open to His presence? Jesus, help me to recognize you!
