Daily Meditation for April 15, 2026

In today’s first reading from the Acts of the Apostles, we hear that the apostles were imprisoned for preaching the good news that Jesus had risen. At that time, some people felt threatened by what the apostles were saying, while others thought the resurrection was a hoax, a false tale made up by the disciples. While an angel released them from prison, their continued witnessing further angered political and religious leaders. In this second week of the Easter season, what good news are you drawn to share? In these challenging times, what words would you like to speak to someone around you? Are these words that offer encouragement, support, hope, or a broader perspective? Like the apostles, we are invited to speak boldly, but fear can hold us back. Take heart and fear not, the Risen Christ is with you to give you the courage and the words to speak.
