Daily Meditation for February 25, 2026
Winter wears on, and our hearts get weary. When the snow is no longer fresh, soft or sparkly and the gray clouds cover the sun day after day, our souls struggle to be cheerful. Winter weariness makes it easy to turn our hearts inside, to cocoon back into ourselves, even to feel hopeless. But our souls need one another! This is the time to turn outward! Begin again! Look for small signs of hopeful life—a squirrel nibbling on a found-again acorn, an earlier sunrise, a human face seeking a warm smile from another. We can each be that sign of hope. These days, especially, we need one another. Be the one to reach out and show love. Pray for God’s guidance in how you are called to show your love and the Spirit will move you forward. You will be rewarded with renewed energy, sunshine and friendship.
