Daily Meditation for September 11, 2026

On September 11, the day we refer to as 9/11, most of us can remember exactly where we were and what we were doing when we became aware of the terrorist attack upon the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the plane crash in Pennsylvania. One person stood by and asked: “Where was God in this terrible tragedy?” Another person answered: “God was there at the scene of the tragedies, crying with the traumatized, helping the injured get medical aid, picking up broken bodies as desperate people jumped from the burning buildings, comforting the grieving, and feeding the workers. God escorted hundreds of people that day to his kingdom and welcomed them home with love, peace and comfort. God was in many places that day because of all the people who ministered out of love for the good of another. That’s where God was on 9/11.
