Daily Meditation for May 5, 2026

On April 11, the sisters at St. Scholastica Convent honored and celebrated 4 sisters celebrating 75 years as Benedictine sisters, 3 celebrating 70 years, one celebrating 50 years and 1 celebrating 25 years. These 9 sisters have been and are so dedicated to the monastic way of life and are a tremendous inspiration to us. Each of them have rich stories of faithful dedication to the community, to the church, and to the world. Most likely, each of us are deeply affected by dedicated people in our life who inspire us to live lives of faithfulness and fruitfulness. How fortunate we are to have people in our life that teach us by their example how to be faithful to their specific calling in life.  Hats off to all the people who inspire us to enter fully into the joys of life.
