Daily Meditation for April 8, 2026

8:00 a.m. Twenty white Spee-Dee delivery trucks came across the open plain and turned onto the freeway. With resolute intention and speed, they moved forward, weaving between cars, SUVs, and semi-trucks. Might this scene serve as a portrayal of some of your mornings? Up from sleep at the last minute, rush for coffee already timer-perked, attend to morning tasks of personal needs and kitchen order, care of children and pets, and surprise happenings. Right on schedule. Caution! Slow down and breathe. Hug your children and spouse. Walk to the car. Breathe. Feel the warmth of the sun. Wave to the man mowing his lawn next door. Deliberately ease into the street traffic. Move into the day with the direction you choose to give it. Give space for the Spirit to weave in, around and through you. Rising sun: Easter light is shining.
