Daily Meditation for April 7, 2026
This week, April 6 – 12, is Severe Weather Awareness Week. All are encouraged to be mindful of how to respond in the event of severe weather. Here in Minnesota, we can be very thankful that we have not suffered from severe tornadoes, earthquakes, wildfires, or floods as other parts of the country have been ravaged by severe weather-related tragedies. So, as we hear sirens indicating a Tornado Drill this week, it would be good to offer a prayer of thanksgiving for our safety. The sound of a siren from an ambulance, fire truck, or police car is always a signal that someone needs help NOW. My mother taught us to always say a Hail Mary for the person or persons in need of help whenever we hear a siren. Don’t you think she gave all of us good advice? What a great way to do what we can when someone is in great need.
