Daily Meditation for April 3, 2026
After death comes the wordless silence of grief. No words come. Death has no words, it just is. With the death of Jesus, only the silence of Good Friday remains. His last words haunt us. “It is finished.” He has done all that He can or could. He had done all that He was sent to do. He gave even his life. Now, He is finished. But we are haunted, left to wonder. Now that “He is finished”, it is our turn. We are those who must continue to seek justice, loving mercy, and tend to the needs of others. We, who claim to be Christians, His followers, must now act in His stead. And where will you begin to continue His life’s work?
