Daily Meditation for March 31, 2026

The March wind is a productive wind. It awakens the life giving sap in the trees.  During the cold winter months, the sap is dormant.  Warmer temperatures alone can’t move the sap up into the trunk and branches of the trees.  The March wind disturbs, bounces, and sways the trees so that the sap moves up through the trunk, through the branches, out to the twigs, even to the bud sprouts of the tree.  We are much like the trees.  We need new energy, new growth, further development and new adventures to come our way.  Change comes to us…often uninvited, yet, without change, and motion, and a strong spring breeze the tree (and we) will atrophy and die.  The next time you feel a forceful spring breeze on your cheek, look up to the heavens and ask yourself what positive change should be coming into your life.
