Daily Meditation for May 19, 2025
This time of the year poses transitions and changes for many people. One group of individuals this affects would be high school graduates receiving their diplomas. This, at the same time, raises anxieties for them and the parents regarding their child’s future plans. These plans may often involve having the child moving on to a more independent living outside the home. Certainly, there are many more people with areas of concern at this time of the year. Farmers would be one of them, both eager and anxious as they begin a new season of planting and growth. These and all others may take courage in the scriptural passages reassuring all of God’s continual presence in their lives. This following quotation from Deuteronomy offers this reassurance: “Be strong and steadfast; have no fear or dread … for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. God will never fail you or forsake you” (Deuteronomy: 31:6).
