Daily Meditation for May 6, 2025

Lent is over and now we are celebrating the Sundays of Easter. The celebration goes on. Recall the plans you made for Lent. Are these actions that could be continued to deepen your relationship with God? Think about it! It may be that the plan you had for almsgiving could be something you would like to continue. Last week, I saw a mother’s prayer pleading with God to make her children obedient. God responded, “I understand! Sometimes mine act the same way.” This made me stop and think. How have I kept the commandments and taken time to pray? Do I use the graces that God gives me to be the person he wants me to be? As we go through the weeks before Pentecost, let’s make a real effort to listen to God and to carry out his will.
