Daily Meditation for April 10, 2025
Today, April 10, is Severe Weather Awareness Day. So, today at 1 p.m. in every city across Minnesota, sirens will sound indicating a Tornado Drill. All are encouraged to be mindful of how to respond in the event of an actual tornado. Here in Minnesota, we can be very thankful that we have not suffered from severe tornados, earthquakes, wildfires or floods as other parts of the country have been ravaged with severe weather-related tragedies. So, as the siren sounds today, it would be great to offer a prayer of thanksgiving for our safety. The sound of a siren from an ambulance, fire truck or police car is always a signal that someone needs help right NOW. My mother taught me to always say a Hail Mary for the person or persons in need of help when I hear a siren. Let’s all pray for all in need of help today as the sirens are sounded.
