Oblate Lenten Retreat 2023
Oblates are invited to join us for the 2023 Oblate Lenten Retreat.
Praying in Thirds: Ready, Set, Flow
At its best, prayer is not separate-from or in-addition-to our “real lives,” but intricately woven into the way we live. Benedict understood this deeply and structured his vision for discipleship accordingly. From the baptismal Prologue to the rousing call to good zeal, the Rule compels us to see that God invites us and inspires us to let prayerfulness spill abundantly over the bounds of our quiet times. Whether through lectio, the Liturgy of the Hours, or other forms of prayer, we can all practice and live a pattern that connects that prayer with daily life— ready, set, flow. Come. We’ll keep our exploration of this theme prayerful, encouraging, and practical.
