In doing our part to keep Central Minnesota healthy in response to the coronavirus, this event has been cancelled. Thank you for helping us keep our sisters and community safe.
Vatican II challenges us to take responsibility for our own worship in community each week. We invest our energies in the songs we sing during Eucharist, but more is called for than simply singing during the Eucharist; we are expected to sing the Eucharist itself. How do we do this? We shape those key moments (e.g. the gathering) in ritual songs, which differ from hymns, as open-form biblically based songs of dialogue. Going beyond liturgy, these energize us to work for a just and equitable society.
