Benedictines in every age try to save what might otherwise be discarded or devalued by a throw-away society. We will gather up knowledge and hard-won wisdom and explore their meaning for us and future generations, experimenting several ways of putting those experiences into words (memoir, letters, poems, hybrid forms, etc.). We will read and respond to each other’s writing.
Dates: Saturdays, October 5, 12, 9–11 a.m. AND Saturday, October 26, 1–3 p.m.
Facilitator: Mara Faulkner, OSB
Limit: 8 participants
Fee: $150
