Memoir is a generous and varied form, telling the story of a life and of the worlds in which that life unfolded. Many of these worlds need healing. Jolene Brink, a young poet, writes: “Nobody is okay with what is missing./ Our job is to find a narrative that heals.” In this workshop, we will hope to provide some of what is missing and, more hopefully still, create stories that heal. We will read, write and respond to each other’s writing. Sister Mara will be available during these weeks for individual conferences.
