Daily Meditation for December 4, 2023

Today, many places in the world suffer deeply; many suffer from global warming so that access to adequate food becomes a very real problem. I read an article about a local fellow that has been a truck driver for 40+ years. He has been and is very happy being a truck driver. He has had no accidents but has seen many accidents and seen many more close accidents. One of his favorite cities to drive through is New York City. Besides observing the different persons, he loves to observe nature in all its phases as he drives vegetables and fruit across our country. He is one of the quiet, behind-the-scenes persons that provides us with our daily food. For us who are well fed while many persons in the world are literally starving for lack of food. Let us be grateful and pray in gratitude for food, those who grow the food, and drivers who bring it to our markets.
