Daily Meditation for April 29, 2022

The gardeners and farmers among us will soon be busy into the planting season. They have the sacred task of taking seeds that are so dry and tiny and dead looking and planting them in Mother Earth. They believe and know that seeds have great potential. They know that seeds must die before they take root and grow in their own time. Deep within each seed is a glorious flower, or fruit, or food for animals and people to eat. Farmers and gardeners work close to nature and help us marvel in God’s creation. They need a great deal of patience and perseverance in dealing with all sorts of weather conditions. Thank you  gardeners and farmers for the many hours you spend making plans, tending and harvesting the plants that provide food and beauty for us.
