The Passing of Pope Francis
The Vatican has announced that Pope Francis, age 88, died this morning at his residence in the Vatican’s Casa Santa Marta. We pray to our loving God that Francis has been welcomed into his eternal home.
Though we mourn the passing of a kind and devout soul from this world, we rejoice in faith of the Resurrection. May we remember the good works of the Pope’s life, done for the glory of God.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
