Daily Meditation for November 25, 2024
It seems that people are familiar with the saying, “Many hands make light work.” This quotation will prove itself during the upcoming gatherings of Thanksgiving and Christmas. It’s at these times one finds many families and/or friends coming together to celebrate these festive days. It doesn’t take too much of a stretch of the imagination to see the work involved in the preparation and serving a spread for the people gathered for the occasion. A positive spin on having many hands working together is the socializing that happens when these many hands work together. Catching up on families’ events, sharing stories of occurrences, be they cheery or perhaps ones where a word of encouragement or sympathy may deepen these relationships. It is a precious time. Psalm 90 says it well:
“May the favor of the Lord be ours.
Prosper the work of our hands.
Prosper the work of our hands.”
