LOVE MONTH … Celebrating Christmas and New Year’s has left a spirit of gratitude for all the ways that love for one another has been expressed. Spending time with people one loves, receiving meaningful messages in different ways of communication, and opening unexpected gifts are only a few of the ways love is enriched. As we prepare for Valentine’s Day, spending some time reflecting on the meaning of love in one’s life may be a life-giving experience. What does love mean to me? Is it only an emotional feeling? Is it only expressed in a physical way? Is it meant only for persons I like? Spending some time reflecting on these questions may help one deepen the message of Jesus: “Love your neighbor as you love yourself.” May the love of Christ be with you always!
