Daily Meditation for October 5, 2023
Last month when we celebrated Labor Day it occurred to me that it was actually more a day to relax; maybe even a day to reflect on how and why we labor. Do we enjoy our labor or is it mere drudgery? How can we put joy and creativity into our work? Perhaps offering it to God as we arise in the morning and recalling that St. Paul, in 2 Corinthians, tells us that God loves a cheerful giver. This is a good way to make our day relaxed and joyful for everyone around us. May all your days be peaceful for those that you live and work with. Our days go better when started with a positive attitude. Not only do youI feel better, but somehow accomplish more as well.
