The shortest day of the year has passed and we are already noticing an increase of minutes when we are surrounded by light. It seems like living in a constant atmosphere of darkness would be a challenge for most people. What a gift it is to be given the gift of light. Experiencing light gives us the opportunity to appreciate the faces of other people, the natural and created beauty that surrounds us, the ability to move without difficulty and provides what is needed to keep the earth productive and healthy. As we celebrate the gift of LIGHT on February 2nd , may we become more and more aware of Christ , THE LIGHT of the WORLD, who consistently surrounds us with goodness and love, showing us the way to life everlasting where the GREAT LIGHT will shine forever!
