Daily Meditation for March 18, 2022
During these days of Lent, we recall many of the miracles that Jesus worked in his life. We also hear of the challenges that he gives to the people, challenges of trust and faith. The parent of the child who was possessed by the devil came to Jesus and said, “If you can, will you cure my child?” Jesus responded that the person needed to have faith if he was to work a miracle. The parent responded, “I do believe, help my unbelief,” and Jesus cured the child. How often do we really believe when we ask God for favors? There is always an answer, although it may not be recognized by us. Today as you pray, believe that God is listening and look for the response. It may be a simple message in the depths of your heart, that you are loved unconditionally.
