Daily Meditation for January 7, 2021

Do you ever hear yourself defend your position of NON-ACTIVITY saying: “I’m too busy…too old…too weak…to remote from the struggles of the world to do much in changing it?” I tell myself that periodically. Actually, what we have is truly a momentous work in progress, in so many parts of our country, according to the October issue of Hightower Lowdown, “A growing network of energetic democracy activists in different compatible organizations and coalitions who are rebuilding…politics from the ground up…” A grassroots community of people just like you and me. Change is possible, is happening, in spite of what may seem like the static “same old…same old.” What can you and I do today to change something among our “workaday families,” even IF quarantined or locked down?
