Like a sudden storm that has left us with shattered images of pain and sorrow, the pandemic virus is still with us, yet we find ways to keep up our hope and courage. Every day we hear the death count, but also every day we hear about generous persons who respond with care day after day. Actually, love is stronger than death even though it can’t stop death from happening. But no matter how hard death tries, it can’t separate people from love. When death takes someone you love—a spouse, child, parent or dear friend—the love that we had for the person does not disappear. But in the long run, and within the context of one’s own life, love is stronger than death. It cannot take away our memories either. In the end, life is stronger than death.
