Daily Meditation for March 25, 2020

Today (March 25), Christians celebrate the Feast of the Annunciation. This feast includes the Archangel Gabriel who appeared to Mary in Nazareth and asked her if she was willing to become the mother of the Messiah. As a messenger sent from God, Gabriel “announced” this news and request to Mary. Gabriel is one of the most well-known angels and has a very significant role in many religions. Gabriel means “Strong Man of God.” In the Bible, Gabriel often appears in dreams and is considered to be the angel of communication between us and God. Through private prayer to God, we can reach out to Gabriel for guidance, support, direction and protection. All we need to do is ask God, to send Gabriel to us or to a loved one in need, believing in the power and presence of Archangel Gabriel to assist us.
