Is your life a series of events and encounters that cause anxiety, stress and uneasiness? That does seem to be how most of us experience the happenings of the day. But, how different our life could be if we’d cultivate gratitude. In place of focusing on the challenges of today, how different life could be if we’d just stop during the day and ask ourselves, “What and whom am I grateful for? What is right in my life right now?” Studies have shown that gratitude is calming and boosts morale. Grateful hearts produce a level of happiness and happiness produces calm and peaceful approach to life. Do you feel a panic attack coming on? Take a deep breath and slowly list five things you are grateful for. Thank God for all God’s precious gifts of blessings and challenges being sent to you today.
