Lent is quickly approaching! There are a variety of opportunities for you to join the monastic community in the Lenten journey.
Celebrating Lent with the Gospels: Ash Wednesday Retreat
Wednesday, March 6, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Instructor: Margaret Michaud, OSB
The season of Lent prepares Christians to celebrate the great feast of Easter with joy and gratitude. However, the glorious resurrection of Christ follows his passion and death on the cross. We will prayerfully consider the four gospel accounts of Christ’s passion and resurrection so we might experience Lent and Easter with renewed appreciation. We will first consider the three Synoptic gospel accounts and then the story in the Gospel of John. Participants may wish to bring their personal Bibles.

Weekly Lenten Reflection
Join us in our Lenten journey this year through the Weekly Lenten Reflection! When you sign up, you will receive a new meditation via email each Wednesday during Lent. Each meditation will reflect a different theme and be written by a different sister. You’ll learn about obedience, listening, forgiveness, prayer, humility, social justice and love. We hope this seven-week series opens your heart to see how God is guiding you during Lent and during your daily life.
