Whitby Gift Shop and Gallery
Welcome to Whitby, a showcase for works created by the Sisters of the Order of Saint Benedict and other local artists and artisans. A gallery area within the gift shop highlights creative works in various media during four annual art shows.
The gift shop is closed during the month of January, 2012. We will reopen Februay 3, 2012.
Whitby Gift Shop features a unique selection of pottery, silk scarves, needlework, candles, jewelry, cards and more made by the Sisters of Saint Benedict! You will find homemade candy made in the monastery kitchen as well as cracked wheat bread mix from the monastery bakery. Nativity sets come from Latin America, Asia and the Middle East, purchased from companies supporting the Fair Trade Global Network.You are sure to find a special gift for a special person on your holiday shopping list.
