You will see where your time is going and what to do about it. We will walk step by step, making new decisions for your time and energy. Find out if your weak calendar link is planning or decision making.
Burning Bushes and Gentle Breezes Retreat

Moses heard God's voice in an encounter with a burning bush. God's word to Elijah came in a gentle breeze. Through their attentive listening, both Moses and Elijah were called to action! God speaks to us, too, often in the most unexpected circumstances and places. Can you hear the voice of God in the burning bushes and gentle breezes of your life? This retreat will be a time of listening "with the ear of your heart" and discerning your response to God's call for action in the present circumstances of your daily life.

As Catholics and Christians, we are called to welcome the immigrants and strangers in our midst. This thought-provoking presentation includes a short film, explanation of the recent bishops' statement on immigration, as well as a look at common myths, local demographics and the implications for our communities in response to the strangers in our midst.
Wisdom Books in The Saint John's Bible and Visio Divina

Lectio divina is an ancient prayer practice of meditating on the Sacred Scriptures. With visio divina, visual art and Scripture are considered together, through reading the Word with our voices, seeing with our eyes, listening with our hearts and responding in prayer. Susah Sink, author of The Art of The Saint John's Bible: A Reader's Guide to Wisdom Books and Prophets, and Sister Kathryn Casper will lead us through a deeper appreciation of the Wisdom Books through an introduction and visio divina.

Spend a quiet day with Mary of Nazareth, an ordinary Jewish woman whose life was indistinguishable from many others. She cooked, sewed and cleaned. She prayed, conversed and served the needs of her family. yet what we see in the biblical stories of Jesus' birth shows that Mary's life was extraordinary.
